Libby won Scotland's first Commonwealth Games gold medal on the athletics track for 20 years as she guided by Mikhail Huggins, had the Hampden home crowd on their feet with a sensational win in the T12 100m at Glasgow 2014. Libby with pilot Jennifer Holl will take part in the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. She finished 4th in the Women's Tandem B 1000m Time Trial final.
Libby made her Paralympic debut in Beijing in 2008, winning a silver medal in the T12 100m, a feat she would repeat at London 2012. She was reclassified as a T11 sprinter in 2016 and went on to set a world record in the T11 200m at July of that year before claiming T11 100m and 200m gold at Rio 2016.
In London, Libby was also joined by younger brother James, who won swimming bronze in the 100m Butterfly (S12). Keeping the family tradition, her brother Stephen was selected to represent ParalympicsGB in swimming at Rio 2016 and joins Libby once again on the team for Tokyo 2020.
