Grant Sheldon
Grant ranked 5th in Men's Individual at his third Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, having finished 17th in the individual event and 7th in the Mixed Team Relay at Gold Coast 2018. He also represented Team Scotland at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, finishing 14th in the individual event and 7th in the Mixed Team Relay.
A former swimmer, Grant turned his hand to Triathlon and hasn't looked back since. He won a bronze medal at the ITU World Junior Championships in 2013 and won double gold at the 2016 World University Championships in Nyon, Switzerland. In an outstanding year, 2016 also included Mixed Team Relay gold at the European Championships and individual bronze at the European Sprint Championships. He went on to his best ITU World Triathlon event result with fourth in Edmonton in September 2016.
