Birmingham will be Becky's third Commonwealth Games appearance after helping Team Scotland to sixth place at Glasgow 2014 and seventh at Gold Coast 2018. She started playing hockey at the age of 8 and received her first full cap for Scotland in February 2008 against Belgium.
She co-captained Scotland on their return to top flight European competition at EuroHockey 2021, after the team won gold on home soil in Glasgow at EuroHockey Championship II in 2019.
Her uncle played ice hockey for Great Britain.
