Bantu Burroughs
Bantu joined Glasgow Rocks in 2015, the first ever alumni of Eastern Mennonite University, Virginia to turn professional. His move to the Rocks came about through an unexpected twist of fate, spotting an open trial at the club while visiting his mother's family in Glasgow and being offered a contract.
The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games was Bantu's first time representing Scotland at a major tournament. He helped the Scotland team secure a place in the bronze medal match, eventually finishing in 4th place.
