Sofia Ramzan

Gold Coast was Sofia's first experience of Commonwealth Games competition, joining Cara Kennedy, Shannon Archer and Isabella Tolometti in the Women’s Team Event and taking 5th place. It came on the back of domestic and international success in 2017 with Sofia taking three individual silver medals, including the All-Around, at the Scottish Artistic Gymnastics Championships before going on to take three medals at the Malar Cup International plus a gold and bronze at the Stormarn Cup.

She took silver in the All-Around at the 2017 Home Nations and a superb senior bronze in the British Team Championships. At the 2015 Scottish Junior Championships she took silver on all four pieces of apparatus, as well as in the All-Around competition.
