Alice made her Commonwealth Games debut for Team Scotland at Birmingham 2022, competing in the 71kg event.
A relative newcomer to weightlifting, having come from karate and then crossfit, she finished 7th at the 2021 European U23 Championships in Finland. The 2022 British Championships saw her claim bronze, setting a new British U23 Snatch record of 83kg and setting a personal best total of 188kg.
