Beth Dobbin
After missing out on qualification for the 2018 Commonwealth Games by a hundredth of a second, Beth made her Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, winning bronze as part of the Women's 4 x 4oom Relay team and reaching the 200m final, where she finished eighth.
Beth was introduced to sprinting after her dad, the former Celtic and Barnsley footballer Jim Dobbin, brought her to the local athletics track. She currently holds the Scottish record in the 200m with a time of 22.50 set at the 2019 Muller Anniversary Games. She was selected for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, reaching the 200m semi-finals, and in the same year recorded two wins for the GB team at European Team Championships in the 200m and 4x100m Relay.
