World and Olympic medallist, Daniel was part of the Scottish team which took a historic silver medal at Glasgow 2014 - Scotland's first ever medal in the Team competition. He went on to perform brilliantly on Parallel Bars to take gold and added bronze on Rings to become one of Scotland's most successful gymnasts in Commonwealth Games history.
Gold Coast 2018 saw a second successive Team Event medal as he took bronze alongside Frank Baines, Kelvin Cham, Hamish Carter and David Weir. He also took individual bronze on Floor to bring his Commonwealth Games medal tally to five.
Daniel is a proven performer on the international stage with highlights including Team bronze at the London 2012 Olympic Games, winning the overall title in the 2013/14 World Cup series and World Championship Team silver in 2015.
