Gold Coast 2018 was basketball's first appearance at the Games since 2006. Fraser made his Commonwealth Games debut at Gold Coast 2018 helping the team reach the bronze medal match where Team Scotland would finish 4th. At his second Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022 he was apart of the team that got a 4th place finish after a tight 13-12 loss to Canada.
He represented Great Britain at the U20 European Championships and Scotland at both U16 and U18 European Championships.
Playing at Black Hills State University, Fraser played in and started all 28 games in the 2016-17 season averaging a team-best 14 points per game.
