Jamie captained Team Scotland at his second Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022, leading the team to 6th place, matching their result from Gold Coast 2018. He has a long history with Team Scotland, having captained the 2011 Isle of Man Commonwealth Youth Games team.
He is a sustainability ambassador for Scottish Rugby and Team Scotland and is pursuing this passion by following up his first-class Honours degree in business management, which included a module on business sustainability, from Napier University in Edinburgh, with a Masters degree on the subject at Cambridge University.
