Lisa made her Team Scotland debut at the Gold Coast 2018 Games, finishing 8th in the 48kg category. Her result followed a fantastic performance at the 2017 Commonwealth Championships, held in the same venue, where she finished 5th.
Lisa began weightlifting in December 2014 following a career as a gymnast and powerlifter. She broke European and World records on her way to World Powerlifting Championship gold in 2014 and currently holds the 48kg Weightlifting Scottish records for Snatch, Clean & Jerk and Total.
