Louise Haston
Double silver medallist as pilot to Aileen McGlynn at Glasgow 2014, Louise once again paired up with Aileen at her second Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast achieving a 3rd place finish in both the B Tandem Time Trial and Tandem Sprint event. The pair also won silver in the B Tandem Time Trial and bronze in the Sprint at the 2017 World Championships, having taken gold and silver at the British Championships.
Louise also enjoyed individual success in 2017, winning gold in the Scratch Race, silver in the Keirin and bronze in the Sprint at the Scottish Championships, as well as two gold and two silver at the British Masters Championships. Louise switched from Athletics to Cycling in 2009 as part of the Gold4Glasgow programme, an initiative launched by the sportscotland Insitute of Sport to uncover new talent.
