Lucas Thomson
Lucas competed at his first Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast 2018 which saw him secure 5th in both the 10m platform & the 10m platform synchronised events he also finished 12th in the 1m Springboard event. Luca earned team selection after a string of medal winning performances. Winning gold at both the Scottish and British Championships in Men's 10m Synchro with James Heatly in 2017, the pair added silver at the FINA Grand Prix in Gold Coast, held in the Commonwealth Games venue.
He also had success in Mixed 10m Synchro with Gemma McArthur, the pair winning gold at the Gold Coast Grand Prix and silver at the FINA Grand Prix in Bolzano. Lucas added individual bronze in the 10m Platform in Bolzano and at the 2018 British Championships came away with junior gold in the 10m Platform and bronze in 1m Springboard.
