Ollie made his Commonwealth Games debut at Birmingham 2022, finishing in 7th place in Men’s 100m Butterfly S10. Ahead of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games he took part in the Queen's Baton Relay, carrying the Baton for his school, Bell Baxter High.
He was named 2020 Swimmer of the Year by Disability Sport Fife and in January 2022 he released the fantasy novel 'Mythos and World of Terra Tearia' which he decided to write during the COVID-19 lockdown to keep positive and remain productive.
