Paul Foster
Paul started playing bowls at the age of 12 through his father and has played in four Commonwealth Games, collecting four gold medals and one silver. Gold in a thrilling Fours final and silver in the Pairs in Gold Coast took Paul to third on the all-time list of Scotland's most successful Commonwealth Games athletes behind fellow bowler Alex Marshall and sprinter Allan Wells.
He took gold alongside Marshall in the Pairs and Fours events at Glasgow 2014 and collected further medals at the 2016 World Championships and became World Indoor Singles Champion in January 2017 for the 5th time.
One of his biggest honours in the game was receiving an MBE in 2014. He will compete at his fifth Commonwealth Games at Birmingham 2022.
