Robbie Fergusson
Robbie made his Commonwealth Games debut at Gold Coast 2018 as the team finished in 6th place, just missing out on the chance to play for a first team medal having been drawn with defending Commonwealth champions South Africa with just one to progress from the group. He returned for his second Games at Birmingham 2022, with Team Scotland ranking 6th.
He was born in Ayr and helped his hometown team to a domestic double in 2013 before being diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma the following year which interrupted his career.
After making a full recovery he went on to earn a contract at Glasgow Warriors before moving to London to play for London Scottish.
Fergusson was Scotland's joint top points scorer in the truncated 2020 World Sevens Series. He was part of the fourth placed Team GB 7s squad on his Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.
