The Scottish Sports Awards 2024, hosted by Team Scotland and sportscotland, will take place on Wednesday 4 December 2024, and will celebrate the best of Scottish Sport.
Held at the prestigious Glasgow Science Centre, join us to mark a fantastic year of achievement on the biggest screen in Scotland. Guests will be treated to a night of celebration, food and drinks as well as rubbing shoulders with the great and the good of Scottish Sport.
Proceeds from the night will be donated to the Team Scotland Youth Trust. Find out more about the Trust here.

To nominate please complete the relevant form below. You can nominate yourself or someone else.
You will be asked to submit a maximum of 300-500 words explaining why the chosen organisation or individual has been nominated. Please note the judging period covers achievements from 1 January 2024 to 27 September 2024. In exceptional circumstances, the judging panel reserves the right to take into consideration performances from outside this period

Sustainability in Scottish Sport Award
The Scottish Sports Awards – School Sport Award Category
This year, nominations for the School Sports Award category will come from the sportscotland School Sport Award.
Funded by the National Lottery, the sportscotland School Sport Award is awarded for innovation and achievement in delivering school sport and physical activity in Scotland. Over 1000 schools in Scotland are now engaged in the award, across all 32 local authorities.
A Gold School Sport Award is presented to schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment and dedication to promoting physical activity, sports participation, and overall well-being among their students. The School Sport Award provides a framework for all schools to be recognised across gold, silver and bronze levels and to enable the Active Schools networks and schools to work effectively together. The total number of gold schools now stands at an all-time high, with more schools putting young people at the forefront of decision making and planning of school sport and PE, while also increasing participation opportunities for all.
All current gold schools, that have been awarded since January 2024, will be considered for the Scottish Sports Awards Category, and three schools will be put forward to the judging panel to select the winner.
