Wrestling was one of the original six sports included in the inaugural Games in 1930. All Commonwealth Games competition has been in Freestyle wrestling, with the exception of Delhi 2010 where a Greco-Roman event was also contested.
The Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games saw the inclusion of a women’s Wrestling competition for the first time.
