Team Scotland were welcomed to the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Celtic Park, Glasgow with Judo’s Euan Burton bearing the flag.
Judo became Scotland’s most successful Commonwealth Games sport of all time at a single Games with thirteen medals won. Kimberley Renicks, Louise Renicks, Euan Burton, Sarah Adlington, Sarah Clark and Chris Sherrington all secured gold.
20 year old Ross Murdoch shocked everyone, himself included, with a new Commonwealth Games record to win 200m Breaststroke gold at Tollcross.
