Scots at Paralympics 2024: Day 10

There was a golden treble for the Scots in Paris on Day 10 as Ben Sandilands stormed to Men’s T20 1500m gold in a new World record, Jenny Holl piloted Sophie Unwin to Cycling Road Race gold and tennis star Gordon Reid teamed up with Alfie Hewett to take gold in the Wheelchair Doubles.

Sandilands wasn’t the only Scottish medallist on the track as Sammi Kinghorn added her fourth medal of Paris 2024 with silver in the 4x100m Universal Relay, taking her tally to one gold and three silver.

In the pool Louis Lawlor qualified for the final of the Men’s 100m Backstroke S14 where he finished 7th while there was a fantastic effort by Hope Gordon in the heats of both VL3 Va’a event and the KL3 Single Kayak 200m, progressing to today’s and Sunday’s semi-finals respectively.

Also in action today is Stephen Clegg, who goes in the Men’s S12 100m Butterfly and Fin Graham, silver medallist from Tokyo 2020, goes in the Cycling C1 Road Race.
